It was short.....

.....but we packed it full and made it Sweet!

We started, as every good vacation should, early in the morning, with individual boxes of sugar cereal for the road.    (don't worry we balanced it out with Dunkin Donuts later. :)

.....we spent time with old friends

.....we relaxed

.....we rode all sorts of fun vehicles

 

.....we made new friends

...... we got a little silly

.....we pretended to be real farmers who aren't afraid of a little poop

 .....but we were really pretty fascinated with it all.

 {this picture just cracks me up. he carried that little toy gun around for hours

but it wasn't until i looked at these pictures later that I realized it looks like he's getting 

ready to shoot the pony. i promise, no animals were injured during our visit.}

......we ate junk food

 .....we enjoyed perfect summer evenings (which  turned into late nights) on the deck with cups of coffee and heart to heart conversations (until our husbands thought surely our jaws should be hurting)

if these chairs could talk....

......we made memories

And we topped it all off with another day of fun and memories.

.....we rode around and around

.....and up and down

.....we waited patiently (and had almost as much fun watching as riding)

 .....we made sure it was all well documented

.....kept our handsome smiles busy

.....we didn't sweat the small stuff, who needs a double stroller anyway?

.....we got tired, dirty, rained on, hungry, thirsty, sun-kissed

.....we bought $3 ice cream cones

.....we came home exhausted but refreshed.

....are looking forward to doing it all again a.s.a.p!
